Today I will enter two quilts into Blogger's Quilt Festival hosted by Amy's Creative Side. The first will be my Favorite Throw, size 70" x 54". The star centers are left-over fabrics designed Kaffe Fassett, the star points and backgrounds are left-overs from
Oakshott. The background are covered by stippling quiltings and the borders are free motion quilted.

I will also enter my Favorite Art Quilt, a small one sized 8" x 9.5". It is made from old damask which I have dyed into gray and I have made dandelions from white silk fibers and cellulose tissues dyed in yellow. The leaves are made from silk with differens structures and the quilt is free hand embroidered by machine.

SvaraRaderaI really love your throw. The oakshots give the perfect amount of rest for the Khaffe fabrics to shine out without being overwhelming. Beautiful!
