This might not be an art quilt but I want to show my finished top inspired by Jenny Bowker's quilt. I started in the beginninig of November last year before her pattern was available to buy and I can tell you I had a hard time to understand how to make the top as there is no regular block. Later I bought her pattern and it's very easy to follow her instructions and there is a faster way to sew all the halfsquare triangels which I made one by one.
The top is now at my friend's as I have asked her to do the longarm quilting. Later I'll make another smaller one following Jenny's pattern. All the printed fabrics are Kaffe Fassett Collective and the rest from my handdyed stash.
It's Friday and I'll link to Off the Wall Friday, hope you will take your time to visit Nina Marie's blog.

It really does shimmer - like light reflected on water. It's very clever, and I love your colour choices.
SvaraRaderaI like your quilt very much, and I'd call it art: the play of color and light across it is very artful.Claire aka knitnkwilt
SvaraRaderaHi Ange... beautiful quilt... love that you used Jenny's pattern and gave her some support and attribution. Thank you. I bought the pattern on Craftsy and will work on the quilt this summer.
