I've just finished an art quilt which I'll send to the Festival of Quilts in Birmingham. I'm not allowd to show it yet but I'm quite satisfied and I hope it will be of interest. Yesterday I got Kaffe Fassett fabrics I had ordered a couple of weeks ago. As a matter of fact I had decided not to buy any more KF fabrics until I had made at least one or two quilts from my stash. But what to do when you realize some colors you need are missing? And you find the color in so many lovely patterns? I'm so happy, I really love all these fabrics! But I wouldn't dare to tell a non-quilter that I'm going to use a rotary cutter to slice them!
